Our desire at Kingwood Christian Child Development Center (KCCDC) is to partner together with parents to develop the full promise of every child in our care. Our commitment is to provide Christian principles for living, in combination with a strong academic curriculum. Each staff member has the desire to provide children with the best environment available, and to encourage each child to strive for spiritual, academic and physical excellence. We are dedicated to accomplish this task beginning with our youngest classroom of 12 week olds and continuing through our K4 program.
We have been truly blessed at KCCDC, and we are excited about our center. "In August of 2006 my family experienced a very abrupt change. I went from being a stay-at home mom to working full-time outside the home in only a matter of days. God had quickly opened the door for me to be employed again and I needed HIS call to go. You can imagine, though, what this change did to my children. They were used to only attending Mom?s Day Out a few days each week, not to full-time school. I was quite worried about how they would adjust to their new environment and schedule. Luckily, my fears were calmed once I met the staff at KCCDC. Administration took the time to thoroughly acclimate me to the curriculum, guidelines and rules of the KCCDC and the staff were all very friendly, loving, and receptive to each of my children?s needs. They have provided a safe, nurturing environment for my children to grow both mentally and physically as well as helping to lay the spiritual foundation that is of utmost importance for their future. KCCDC History
KCCDC began in 1979 when Kingwood Christian School was founded. Construction of our current campus was completed in 1995; the addition of the Church and additional daycare classrooms occurred in 1999. We currently have approximately 240 children enrolled between the ages of 12 weeks to four year olds.
