It is our desire for a child’s first learning experience in a school atmosphere to be successful at KCCDC. As part of our enrollment process, a pre-enrollment interview will be scheduled with the parents and Director or Assistant Director upon completion of all necessary paperwork. Enrollment is contingent upon the appropriate classroom availability and official recommendation from the Admissions Committee. Written notification of acceptance or referrals for all prospective applicants will be determined by the Admissions Committee. The Admissions Committee will take into account many aspects, including the following:
- Previous school experiences
- Developmental skills
- References (Previous Daycare, Caretaker, Neighbor or Sunday School Teacher. Please, no relatives.)
- Birth date
- Behavior
- Results from K4 screening (applicable only to K4)
- Pre-Parent/Child Interview
Waiting List
We maintain a year round waiting list for potential enrollment. We encourage parents to submit the completed Waiting List form as soon as they are confident of their need for future enrollment. Expectant parents are encouraged to complete the Waiting List as well. Once the Waiting List Application, is submitted we will contact you when the appropriate position is available. Although we cannot absolutely guarantee enrollment for a specific timeframe, we will do everything possible to accommodate requests as availability occurs. Tuition
Kingwood Christian Child Development Center is a year round daycare/kindergarten facility. We are open Monday through Friday from
6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for ages 12 weeks to 4 years olds. Our facility is blessed to have loving, dedicated staff to teach and care for each child enrolled. We are also fortunate to have a full-time nurse on staff. Our housekeeping and maintenance staff is an integral part of the exemplary cleanliness of our facilities. We have age appropriate playgrounds that have restricted outside access to ensure the safety of the children. The following ages for the daycare classes are approximate; class determination is based on age and developmental skills on an individual basis.
Nursery, Infant and Toddler Classrooms Ages – 12 weeks up to 24 months
$162* a week (when appropriate, includes two snacks and lunch daily)
Our teacher to child ratio for this age group is approximately 1 to 4.
Two year olds Ages 24 months up to 35 months
$144* a week includes two snacks and lunch daily
Our teacher to child ratio for this age group is approximately 1 to 7
Three year olds Ages - 35 months to 48 months.
$139* a week includes two snacks and lunch daily
Our teacher to child ratio for this age group is approximately 1 to 11.
K4 Ages 48+ months
(Must be age 4 by September 30 for school year and have an
acceptable score on the Brigance Screening; and recommendation from
Admissions Committee.)
$135* a week includes lunch and one snack daily.
Our teacher to child ratio for this age group is approximately 1 to 18.
